My First Attempt at Distressing

I made this tag after I saw Tim Holtz at the Mega Meet last month. It was fun to make. It is made with Distress Ink and Perfect Pearl powders on the embossing on the heart. Just need to incorporate them into my layouts for a different look. Just what I needed....more product to buy!

Been doing about a layout a week, could do more, but guess it is better than none. The above layout is from last March when the grandkids were here. This was taken at Hudson Mills.

 

I had posted these pictures awhile back and finally made a layout with them.

 

Just love this picture with Tyler's back to us. Meagan took this in Florida out back of her Grandmother’s home by the lake.  Journaling:

This is for my All About Me Album.  Wanted to scrap the summer I worked up at the Island.  Was a real experience.

Layout for the Birthday Boy

Tyler turned 4. He is getting to be such a big boy. These pictures were taken last spring when they were here. Sounds as though in couple months he will actually be on a soccer team.

These pictures are from Kalen during Christmas last year, 2008. Just finally going through some old pictures that I forgot to put in a layout. Definitely had to put these in a layout, too cute.

Then the last layout I did this weekend, was an oldie but a goodie. This is taken at Cedar Point in 1972, the day after Prom.
