Finally Won a Giveaway

110_0076

After a couple years of posting on numerous scrapbook blogs, I finally won a giveaway. It is from Making Memories and is the Mistletoe collection. It is really cute. Love the felt snowflakes and the glitter paper. Can’t wait to play with it. With getting ready for Christmas, will have to though.

Sweet Little Thing

little girl

Was able to do a few layouts a couple weekends ago. 3 layouts in one sitting is great for me. Love the colors in the layout above. Purple is not my favorite, but love it on this layout.

This is from when the kids visited this summer. Tyler running around in the back yard in his pajamas catching lighting bugs.Precious

This is an older picture of Brianna when she was just a few years old.  Love how she is holding the mirror while she blows her hair dry. So cute.

So Darn Cute

222 I did this layout sometime ago and never got around to posting.  Tyler can be such a goofball, but so darn cute! I haven’t scrapped in the last few weeks, so hoping I can get down in my studio this weekend for a little creative outlet.

I posted a couple more over at : http://byarfamily.blogspot.com/

I am working on a full photo album of my own for Jessica’s wedding and almost done. So will post that soon. It was suppose to be a simple and easy album, but has been more of a job than expected. As usual I put to much in it, just the way I scrap I guess!

Mini Book and Scrap Money!

scan0001

I gathered a few of my scrapbook items, ok a lot, that I doubted I would use anymore and put them in a garage sale at a local scrapbook store. My total sales were 124.00!!Yippee. Now I can buy more supplies.

MINI BOOK

mini book

Here is look at the mini book I made over the weekend at a make and take at Archivers Scrapbook Store. It was really easy and fun. Now have to figure out which pictures to put in it.

Mega Meet

Well I skipped out of work early on Thursday, which was a real feat in itself, and went over to the Mega Meet in Novi. I took a SEI class on making an acrylic album. It was surprisingly easy and the outcome was really cute.

The main thing to do is use double sided paper, so the backside of the page is already done when you finish with the front side. Just add a few embellishments, and you are done. We received a 40% coupon to use at their booth and bought these cute rub-ons.

I found one vendor that had the new Jellybean Soup line and picked up a few items there.

Another find I found was @Rusty Pickle. They were having half off on their kits. So I picked up this cardboard album kit for $ 12.00. Should be fun to do.

Then picked up some new Basic Grey Bling to use in Jess's wedding album I am tackling at the moment

Just wish I could have not worried about work and really enjoyed myself more. But with my phone going off all the time, just not as relaxing as I would have liked. Yea I could have turned off the phone, but need to sell those houses, or I won't have money to buy scrapbook stuff!!

Grow Little Man

I have been wanting to scrap this picture for so long. It is Mike and Tyler Taylor
in their backyard with their feet up on a brick wall by their driveway. I may add a picture to the brown frame-if I find a nice one of the 2.

Simple Pleasures

This is the layout I did for the challange at Real Life Scrap's 1st challenge. The theme was "Simple".

Journaling:

For my birthday this year I decided to treat myself to a few Simple Pleasures. I first woke up in the morning and stayed in bed for an extra hour reading. Heaven! Then had a nice cup of coffee before heading downstairs to get on the treadmill. I admit the treadmill is not a pleasure (yet) but sure is simple. Then lit a candle so the home had a nice country scent while I finished redecorating the third bedroom. After having to run out and work for a few hours (not pleasure!), I stopped for my favorite pastry, a bear claw and a latte. A simple but pleasurable day.

Valentine Surprise

I received this cute Valentive from
Elaine Hanson. A relative I have
not seen in probably over 30 years,
and she does not live to far away.
She is a scrapbooker, & stamper too.
We are going to have to get together
and do some scrapping soon.

Oh Boy

Here is my latest layout. I have been pretty good about getting a couple layouts or projects done a week.

I even went through alot of my papers and stickers, etc and purged a bunch of supplies. So next time a few of you come over ask to look in my purge pile! Also have been having fun with my new tool, the cropadile that Bri and Mike gave me for Christmas. Punching chip board like crazy, and this weekend punched through some tin buckets. Hmm...what can I punch next??

Characters in Costumes

Finally finished my little project done. This is my first attempt at an altered book. It was fun! The hardest part was figuring out which photos to add. I knew I wanted to use the papers from Out and About from My Minds Eye so then thought Halloween photos would goes best.
