Ann Arbor Scrappers

I started a group page about 2 years ago and never put the energy into it and just recently have been getting a few hits on it. So thought I would start putting information out there on other websites to see if we can get some more ladies around the Ann Arbor area to join us in our scrapbooking crops. The group site is :

SIS Crop in Saginaw

There is going to be a crop in Saginaw on Feb 16th and if anyone would like to tag along let me know and we can drive together. It will be a all day crop. Above are layouts during our round robins, from our first crop These are so much fun and so much talent. Let me know if you are interested, we may have to let them know a count. I was planning on still having my crop the night before on the 15th. I will be putting together layouts for the crop the next day.
And.....if you can't make it to this one we are going to have one at Scrap Tales in Brighton in March. So you have to make it to that! Looking like late March, I will keep you posted.

High School Dances

This is one of the layouts I did Friday. I am working on my All About Me album. The pictures are not the clearest. I guess what can you expect for over 3o year old photos. I should've made prints and enhanced them.

This Friday Crop

So far we have 3 ladies coming to crop this Friday. Anyone else interested?? I hoping I can finish my reunion book that evening. Probably have about 5 more layouts to do. Then of course have to do the journaling. Below is a couple layouts I have finished already.


Hey ladies I was thinking about pizza that night, how does that sounds? So then you don't have to rush to have dinner before you come. Let me know what you think.

Jenn's New Scrap Place

Jennifer and I got together a couple Fridays ago and she worked on christmas cards while I worked on some layouts. She just snagged a great hutch( talked her husband into letting her keep it instead of him taking it to his work) to make her own scrap place and I wanted to share it with everyone. It just goes to show you, you don't need to spend alot to have a great desk and organization. She got the hutch for free, used a board from under a bed mattress and 2 book case to complete her space.

Layout from Novi Crop

Here is a picture of the layout that was done during a round robin at the Novi Crop last weekend. The girls do such a good job. We only did one round robin (where we hand off a picture and paper to the next girl...they have 5 minutes to work on it...and then on to the next girl) that day. We scrapped from 9:30 am to 11 pm. I got 7 other layouts done for my 2006 Reunion album. I will try to post them shortly. We only had 8 girls this time, so wasn't as rumbustious as usual, so maybe that is why I got more done then usual. Was a good time.

Change the date on the next crop??

Thinking we will change the date on the next crop to the 16th of November. Would that work for everyone? And if anyone would like to do the weekend before too, I may be up for it. I will be scrappin alot, I have a few projects I would like to start on. Just let me know.

10-12 Crop Nite

Had another productive night scrappin. Darlene, Brook, Sherry and I scrapped while Meagan worked on a sewing project. She is making a fairy costume. We went to about 12:30 and I got in bed around 1:30 and then woke up at 6:30 and drove up north. Didn't hit me till about 9 pm that night. Maybe we will try for another crop night the 2nd weekend of November. I was thinking I could take a little time and show you guys how to work with some chip board and let you experiment with some.

We had mentioned getting back together this upcoming weekend - Friday Oct 12th to do some more cropping so wanted to let you all know I am still up for it. Jenn, you mentioned you may have to come later and that is fine. So just let me know if you are going to be able to make it. I think I am going to work on a new reunion book (from 2 summers ago) that I have been putting off.
